Hi everybody!

We wanted to update you about the current development of Full Mojo Rampage.

1. Some delays, but don’t worry… Alpha is closer!

Our initial intention was to release the first alpha in April, but with the last changes we will need a few more weeks to enter open alpha.

As a reward for the delay we will include the names of all the people that have pre-ordered the game in very special way. We will email you personally to ask if you want your name in the game and tell you what we need

2. Classes… or sort of!

In RPG games (Torchlight, Diablo, NWN, etc.) you can always choose between different classes. Most of the times, there are always similarities in classes between games...

In this update we will discuss the latest developments of the game made in these past weeks.

We have been working on things that are needed for the first pre-alpha and which will be available for all the people who will have pre purchased Full Mojo Rampage (Thank You!).

These are some of our goals for this pre alpha:

Play a full campaign

We expect the player to be able to create a new game, and play from start to finish the first campaign of the game. The idea is to have different campaigns in the final game. Each one of these will represent different challenges and goals. These quests are all related to the Voodoo gods (also called Loa)...

When we started to develop Full Mojo Rampage, we set as one of the most important objectives to have levels that are interesting and beautiful in 3D.

At the same time we wanted everything to be random and procedural. If you decide to replay this game, levels will be totally different.

We came up with different dungeon and maze generation algorithms to create the basic shapes of the levels. Levels are based on tiles: think of them as a big array of squares that can be either “floor” or “wall”.

Once the general layout is calculated, we need to add art and eye candy to the level...

Today is an important day for the team at Over the Top Games. We can finally show you a bit of our new game that’s under development. Remember to keep coming back, as we plan to post regular updates and share details related to the development.
